ADNOC Gas Signs LNG Supply Agreement Worth $450-550 Million with PetroChina
ADNOC Gas, the integrated gas processing company based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has entered into a significant agreement with PetroChina International (PCI), a subsidiary of the oil and gas company PetroChina, to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG). The value of this LNG supply deal falls within the range of $450 million (AED 1.65 billion) to $550 million (AED 2 billion).
LNG is a crucial raw material in various industrial value chains due to its versatility and applicability across a wide range of industries. ADNOC Gas has emphasized its commitment to ensuring the reliable supply of LNG to customers worldwide.
Ahmed Mohamed Alebri, CEO of ADNOC Gas, expressed satisfaction with the agreement and highlighted the significance of the Chinese market, stating, "We are pleased to sign this LNG supply agreement with PCI, further strengthening our presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing gas markets. China continues to be a key market for ADNOC Gas."
Wu Junli, Chairman of PCI, emphasized the importance of energy collaboration between China and the UAE. He expressed delight at partnering with ADNOC Gas and described the agreement as an extension of the ongoing cooperation between the two companies, reaffirming PCI's commitment to ADNOC Gas as a global partner.
This deal is part of ADNOC's broader efforts to expand its international LNG sales agreements, which include partnerships with Japan Petroleum Exploration (JAPEX), India Oil Corporation (IOCL), and TotalEnergies Gas and Power.
