Subsea 7, a prominent offshore services provider, has recently announced the extension of its ongoing frame agreement with BP, encompassing subsea construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) services for BP's North Sea assets. This extension marks a continued collaboration that has been in place since the initiation of the agreement in 1998.

Under the extended agreement, Subsea 7 will deliver an IRM, survey, and light construction vessel, equipped with both work-class and observation-class remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV). These capabilities enable the vessel to conduct a wide range of operations, including inspection, survey, intervention, subsea construction, and emergency response services.

The contract extension spans two years, maintaining the partnership until the conclusion of 2025.

All project management and engineering responsibilities will continue to be overseen from Subsea 7's operational hub in Aberdeen.
